Experienced Emergency Veterinarian (Swing Shift) | No Overnights or Weekends

Copeland Veterinary Hospital is hiring an experienced Emergency Veterinarian in Cookeville, Tennessee to join our collaborative, community-focused team. As part of our established walk-in emergency hospital, you'll see a diverse and rewarding emergency caseload while working alongside an experienced, highly trained veterinary team. Due to this model, you'll have the opportunity to see exciting ER cases and a chance to snuggle puppies and kittens! This is ideal for an Emergency Veterinarian seeking a sustainable ER schedule, advanced medical resources, and a supportive hospital culture.
Emergency Veterinarian Schedule
Full-time schedule: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - Midnight
8-hour swing shifts only - no overnight shifts
No weekend requirements
Flexible scheduling available for experienced ER DVMs (14-16 shifts per 4-week block)
Emergency Veterinarian Compensation & Benefits
Compensation
Base salary: $120,000-$160,000 + production (no negative accrual)
Up to $50,000 sign-on bonus for experienced ER veterinarians
Up to $10,000 relocation assistance

Emergency Veterinarian Qualifications
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree
Tennessee veterinary license preferred (licensure transfer assistance provided)
Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care, and surgery
Strong communication and client service skills
Team-oriented mindset with a passion for high-quality veterinary medicine
