Freight Broker Opportunitygpac is working with a fast-growing freight brokerage in the Fort Lauderdale, FL area that is looking to add an experienced Freight Broker who wants the freedom to build and manage their business without the layers and restrictions that often come with larger organizations.This is a cradle-to-grave opportunity where you'll maintain ownership of your customer relationships and control the process from start to finish. The company operates with a lean structure, giving experienced brokers the ability to move quickly, make decisions, and directly benefit from the business they build.What You'll DoProspect and develop new shipper relationshipsBuild and manage a profitable book of businessSecure freight and negotiate ratesSource and manage qualified carriersManage loads from rate confirmation through final deliveryServe as the dedicated point of contact for your customersResolve transportation issues and maintain strong long-term relationshipsWhat We're Looking For1–3+ years of freight brokerage or freight agent experienceStrong shipper development and relationship-building skillsUnderstanding of freight markets, lane pricing, and carrier negotiationsExperience with DAT, Truckstop, and TMS platformsAn active, portable book of business is highly preferredWhy This Opportunity?Hybrid option availableSignificant earning potentialCompetitive commission structure with uncapped upsideMaintain ownership of your customer relationshipsControl your freight from prospecting through deliveryLean environment with less corporate red tapeQualified brokers are encouraged to share their current or recent revenue and margin numbers when applying.
