GM Certified Service Technician | Duramax Diesel, EV & Diagnostic Specialist
Reliable Chevrolet Springfield | Springfield, MO
Flat-rate compensation: Approximately $25.00- $40.00+ per flagged hour , based on experience, certifications, productivity, and qualifications.
Tiered Sign-On Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates. Bonus amount is based on experience, GM certifications, ASE certifications, and overall qualifications.
ASE Master Technicians, GM World Class Technicians, Diagnostic Technicians, Duramax Diesel Technicians, Heavy Line Technicians, and EV-Certified Technicians are encouraged to apply.

What You'll Do
Diagnose, maintain, and repair Chevrolet and GM vehicles
Perform maintenance, warranty, and customer-pay repairs
Diagnose and repair Duramax diesel engines and related systems
Diagnose and repair GM EV and high-voltage systems
Use factory diagnostic tools and procedures
Complete repair orders accurately and efficiently
Maintain GM training and certification requirements
Deliver quality workmanship and exceptional customer service
What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years of professional automotive repair experience required
GM dealership experience preferred
ASE certifications preferred
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
Preferred Certifications GM Certified Service Technician
GM World Class Technician
GM Duramax Diesel Certification
GM EV (Electric Vehicle) Certification
ASE Master Technician
Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification
HVAC Certification
Brake, Steering & Suspension Certification
Additional compensation opportunities may be available for ASE Master, GM World Class, Duramax Diesel, and GM EV-Certified Technicians.
Physical Requirements
The physical requirements listed below are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of this position, with or without reasonable accommodation. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and work in a shop environment throughout the workday
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 100 pounds occasionally, with or without reasonable accommodation
Operate lifts, diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools
Work in varying shop temperatures and conditions
EV Safety Requirements
Safely work around high-voltage electric vehicle systems
Follow GM and OSHA safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements
Use required PPE, including high-voltage gloves, face shields, and insulated tools when applicable
Maintain required GM EV training and safety certifications
Follow all manufacturer and dealership EV safety protocols
Requirements
Valid driver's license
Successful completion of pre-employment screening requirements, including background and drug testing where permitted by law
