About the job Experienced Heavy Equipment Technician - ATL
Position Overview
Our client is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician to join their service team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing a variety of construction and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
Perform preventive maintenance and routine service
Troubleshoot equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
Inspect equipment and identify potential issues
Service a variety of construction and compact equipment
Operate equipment as needed to diagnose and verify repairs
Complete quality repairs while maintaining a strong focus on customer service
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Work independently and collaborate with other technicians and team members
Qualifications Strong experience servicing and repairing heavy equipment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
Ability to diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs
Experience with construction or compact equipment preferred
Experience with multiple equipment manufacturers is welcome
Ability to operate heavy equipment
Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Schedule Four 10-hour shifts
Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday
Overtime may be available based on business needs
