Job description
Experienced Manual Machinist (First Shift - $30+/hr)Fischione Instruments is seeking a Manual Machinist for our world-class manufacturing facility located in Export, PA. Our Manual Machinist is responsible for the skilled machining of small, intricate, close-tolerance, advanced precision parts and components. Machining will be low volume quantities using manual machines including mills and lathes. Manual Machinist will ensure low volume production runs are done in a safe and efficient manner producing high-quality parts.Core Responsibilities:Manually machine advanced precision parts from drawing to partUse variety of manual tools to prepare parts/components for final assembly productionEvaluate and rework parts and components to meet tight tolerance specificationsUse and maintain measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)Use and maintain hand tools including the sharpening of drills and cutting toolsAbility to conduct periodic maintenance, troubleshoot and limited repairsQualifications and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentMust possess solid understanding of machining principles and techniques3+ years operating manual mills and manual lathesMust have mathematical skills including trigonometry, geometry and simple mathMust possess strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to high quality standardsExperience producing small, tight-tolerance components in a prototype or small production environmentCNC Machining experience is highly desirableBenefits: 401K w/ 4% match - Comprehensive Medical Benefits!!!! - Dental Insurance - Vision Insurance - Provided / Voluntary Life Insurance - Paid Time Off - Sick Days - 9 Annual Holidays - Referral Program - Short-Term Disability Insurance - Long-Term Disability InsuranceWorking Hours: First Shift Only - 7:00am - 3:30pm Salary Information: $30.00+/hr (skilled based pay)Who is Fischione Instruments?Proudly local, globally trusted.
