Whether building bridges, stabilizing shorelines, rehabilitating structures, or providing site engineering and construction solutions for solar, Walbec is your bridge to expertise in construction and engineering.With safety and ethics at the core of everything we do, our experienced professionals are hard at work on commercial and industrial sites throughout the Midwest.We're looking for an Experienced Operator in Milling Equipment, responsible for operating several types of power construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This equipment is specific to, but is not limited to, utility milling machines (concrete or asphalt), skidsteer, belly brooms, pulverizers/recyclers, etc.The candidate must:Have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.Possess a CDL.Have a minimum of two years previous work experience in asphalt/concrete road milling.Hold a high school diploma or GED equivalent, preferred.Be punctual and dependable.Be able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed.Tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments.Be a member of the appropriate trade union or willing to become a union member. Union membership is not required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is able to assist in that process as needed.Have a minimum of one year previous work experience in cold milling machine operation preferred.
