The Experienced Multifamily Maintenance Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining garden style properties within a small maintenance team of 2-5 members. Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, this role involves performing repair work, troubleshooting issues, and preventive maintenance to ensure the smooth operation and safety of multifamily residential units. The position requires excellent customer service skills and on-call availability for emergency situations.
Responsibilities
Perform repair work across a variety of maintenance areas
Troubleshoot equipment and facility issues promptly and efficiently
Conduct preventive maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce downtime
Provide exceptional customer service to and staff
Handle general maintenance tasks to uphold property standards
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance needs
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in multifamily property maintenance
EPA Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical repair, plumbing, and carpentry
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance and safety procedures
Excellent problem solving, communication, and time management skills
