Job description

Position Overview

Serene Medical Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) to join our vibrant team in Warner Robins, Georgia. This full-time role focuses on providing exceptional primary healthcare to children from birth through young adulthood, emphasizing the importance of comprehensive care, health maintenance, and chronic condition management. The ideal candidate will be a passionate advocate for pediatric health, equipped with the skills necessary to foster positive health outcomes in our community.

About the Organization

Serene Medical Center is a well-established concierge medicine provider located in the heart of Warner Robins, Georgia. Our mission is to deliver accessible, personalized, and high-quality healthcare to families, emphasizing a proactive approach to pediatric health. We pride ourselves on fostering a welcoming environment for both patients and staff, ensuring that the needs of our diverse community are met with empathy and expertise.

Work Environment

This full-time position requires on-site work, as our Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will primarily engage with patients in a concierge medicine setting and through house calls. The flexible schedule, with weekday appointments from Monday to Friday, ensures that our practitioners maintain a healthy work-life balance. Additionally, the absence of hospitalist duties and c-section attendance allows our team to concentrate solely on outpatient care, enhancing the quality of service we provide to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive health assessments for pediatric patients, including physical examinations, history taking, and developmental screenings.

Perform therapeutic procedures such as immunizations, injury care, suture removal, and management of infections, ensuring safety and compliance with best practices.

Develop and implement individualized patient management plans, taking into account family, social, and environmental factors affecting health.

Educate families on health maintenance, normal growth and development, behavioral issues, and chronic disease management, empowering them with knowledge for informed decision-making.

Collaborate closely with attending physicians to review patient charts, discuss care plans, and implement quality assurance measures that improve the continuity of care.

Participate in regular team meetings and quality improvement initiatives, contributing innovative ideas that enhance the overall patient experience and outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Pediatric Nurse Practitioner will cater to a varied patient demographic, treating children from birth up to young adulthood. This role emphasizes a holistic approach, considering the physical, psychological, and social dimensions of health. Our patient population includes those with routine well-child visits, acute illnesses, and chronic health issues, allowing for a wide variance in day-to-day interactions and case management opportunities.

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse (RN) and Nurse Practitioner licenses, including DEA certification and CPR certification.

National Certification as a Primary Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (CPNP) is essential for this role.

Evidence of effective communication and interpersonal skills, combined with a strong passion for community healthcare.

Preferred Experience

Previous experience working in a pediatric primary care setting is highly preferred. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) is beneficial for efficient patient management and charting. Candidates who demonstrate a commitment to quality improvement and community health initiatives will have an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 126,000 to 150,000 annually, reflective of experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer:

Flexible scheduling options for a healthy work-life balance.

Productivity bonuses that reward high performance and dedication to patient care.

Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for employees and their families.

Generous paid time off, including vacation, sick leave, and time for holidays, promoting overall well-being.

Continuing education opportunities to foster professional growth and enhance clinical skills.

At Serene Medical Center, we believe that fostering our employees' professional development is key to delivering top-tier patient care. Our Pediatric Nurse Practitioners have access to ongoing training and leadership development programs, paving the way for future leadership roles within our organization. Participation in quality improvement projects also offers additional avenues for skill enhancement and professional contribution.

Why Join Our Team
