Position Overview
The Restaurant Team Lead / Crew Lead / Shift Manager is responsible for leading the team during their shift, ensuring guests receive a remarkable experience, and serving as the face of the restaurant.
Responsibilities
Participate operationally in day-to-day activities in a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant.
Coach, lead, and train in operational excellence, staying true to all quality and time standards.
Encourage the team to meet 2nd Mile Service goals.
Respond immediately and respectfully to guests’ needs.
Assist in training new hires, set the tone for a shift, and act as a role model.
Function as a friendly, encouraging team player.
Open and/or close the store, lead shifts, and act as key holder when required.
Count drawers and finalize the day’s cash.
Manage operational areas such as logistics, supply, or finance.
Maintain excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications

Ability to engage with online learning tools.
Demonstrated experience leading teams and achieving results.

Schedule & Experience
Scheduling is available for both days and evenings, Monday through Saturday. Prior experience as a shift lead, crew lead, supervisor, team lead, restaurant manager, or restaurant assistant manager is very helpful.
