Experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) – PRN (W-2)
nLocation: Bushwick, Brooklyn, NY Employment Type: PRN (W-2), In-Person Compensation: $65–$68 per hour
nPosition Summary
nNoir Well Health is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our community-centered outpatient practice in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
nWe are looking for a compassionate, dependable clinician who is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based women’s healthcare in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is clinically confident, patient-focused, and dedicated to improving health outcomes for women across the lifespan.
nCurrent practice needs include coverage on one dedicated weekday and/or every other Saturday. Clinical schedules will be based on patient demand and practice needs.
nMinimum Qualifications
nCurrent New York State Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) license
nBoard Certified Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner
nMinimum of 3,600 hours of prior qualifying NP practice experience required
nActive professional liability (malpractice) insurance required. Providers will also be added to the practice’s professional liability policy, as applicable.
nCurrent DEA registration preferred, but not required
nExcellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and commitment to patient-centered, evidence-based care
nResponsibilities
nPerform comprehensive women’s health assessments and annual wellness examinations
nDiagnose and manage acute and chronic gynecologic conditions
nProvide preventive care, cervical cancer screenings, STI screening and treatment, contraception counseling, menopause management, and patient education
nOrder, interpret, and manage appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing
nDevelop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
nMaintain timely, accurate, and complete electronic medical records
nCollaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, coordinated patient care
nAdhere to all applicable federal, state, and organizational policies and standards of practice
