Explosive OperatorThis position pays $23.58 per hour! We're looking for a full-time, Explosives Operator to join our Day & Zimmermann team located in Parsons, Kansas. As the Explosives Operator, here's the work you'll do:Operates a computer intecont, a loss-in-weight feeder and thermocouple thermometer for melts using kettles (5 gal., 50 gal., and 250 gal.)Activates and monitors systems associated with Explosive Melt System for all types of explosives.Ensures there are explosives ready for each pour at the start and end of each day.Complies with operation-approved standard operating procedures.Coordinates pre and post system checks and cleans up as required on all floors.This role is for you if you have these skills: Safety awareness and commitment at all times. Decision making skills. Mathematical skills. Effective communication skills. Computer literacy.And if you have these qualifications: High School and/or equivalent. Minimum 6 months experience in operating and monitoring of production equipment. Forklift License preferred.We care about our employees and it shows.
