Export Shipping SpecialistAbacus Solutions Group is currently recruiting for an Export Shipping Specialist:Position Summary: This position will be part of a high performing shipping team. Working with domestic and export shipments. Dependability and accuracy are vital traits for this role. It is important to have timely and accurate shipments sent to all customers to ensure we deliver on our commitments. In this position you will work with a small, dedicated, team who have demonstrated a very high level of quality and customer satisfaction. The current position is for a day shift that runs Monday – Friday, 6:30am – 3:00pm MT.Responsibilities:Prepare and complete domestic and international shipments for delivery or pickup according to schedule and priorityCoordinate shipping activities using ERP systems and external shipping systems. For example, DHL Global, FedEx, UPS, GP Express and Hawaiian ExpressCoordinate with trucking and shipping companies to ship product to customers. For example, Xiamen, Stuttgart, Mexico, Australia, CVS and Argentina.Responsible for daily shipping process of domestic orders.Create paperwork for Fedex Ground, LTL DHL Express and Manual Shipments.Focus on the customer by maintaining quality service and providing exceptional delivery and results.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment by complying with departmental and corporate standards, processes, and procedures.Scan shipping paperwork for internal and external audits.Model a professional work environment that values teamwork, inclusion, and professional growth, lead by example.Ability to assist in warehouse picking and checking orders when time permits.Required Skills:Warehouse experienceWarehouse information - ability to learn new systems.Familiarity with warehouse practices and methodsStrong organization, and time management skillsMust have forklift experience.Desired Technical Experience:Experience using ERP systemsExperience with Microsoft desktop applications to include Outlook, Word, and ExcelInterpersonal Skills:Work independently and as part of a teamFocus on customer support and deliver results with high degree accuracyMust operate with a sense of urgency.Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDA minimum of 5 years of warehouse experienceAbility to lift 30 lbs.Ability to repeatedly bend, squat, and lift.
