We are seeking a dedicated Advance Practice Provider for an exciting opportunity at our Express Care Clinic in the Columbia, MO area. This role allows you to work independently while being supported by the University of Missouri Health Care (UMHC) Department of Family & Community Medicine.
Position Highlights:
Work Environment: Staff a busy acute care clinic located within a family medicine clinic.
Patient Care: Conduct physical assessments, perform and interpret diagnostic tests, treat common conditions, and prescribe medications for patients aged 24 months and older.
Technology: Benefit from fully integrated medical records and paperless e-prescribing systems.
Clinic Hours: Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Weekends & Most Holidays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Shift
Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Weekends & Most Holidays: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (closed Thanksgiving and Christmas)
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in nursing is required.
Missouri Board of Nursing RN or Nurse Licensure Compact multi-state RN. When primary state of residency changes, compact state RNs must apply under new state of residency within thirty (30) days.
Preparation as a nurse practitioner in either a Master's program or a certificate program. Must be granted a "Document of Recognition" from the Missouri Board of Nursing
Anticipated Hiring Range
Salary Range: $105,000 - $120,000 annually
Grade: PAT - 012
University Title: NURSE PRACTITIONER
