Express Service TechnicianOur Central Houston Nissan Dealership is hiring Express Service Technicians!Apply today to join our team of dedicated Automotive Nissan professionals.The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:Paid Holidays.Paid Vacation.Medical Insurance.Dental Insurance.Vision Insurance.Company Paid Life Insurance and AD&D.401(k) with Company Match.Wellness Program.Employee Assistance Program.Vehicle Purchase and Repair Perks.Competitive Pay Rates.Mentorship Program.Job Summary:An Express Service Technician performs routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication, and inspections, ensuring vehicle performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.Duties/Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid checks, lubrication and other tasks in a fast-paced environment.Perform emissions inspections, safety checks and similar state-regulated vehicle examinations.Produce legible and accurate paperwork reflecting work performed.Must read, interpret, and transcribe data in order to maintain accurate records.Maintain inventory and order supplies as needed.Maintain a clean, safe working environment.Required Skills/Abilities:Understanding of automotive systems.Ability to use the diagnostic equipment and tools including power tools.Willingness to learn with hands-on training.Ability to maintain a professional appearance.Ability to provide friendly customer service.Education and Experience:Automotive and engine repair experience or auto mechanic training preferred.Working knowledge of state inspection guidelines, particularly those concerning emissions and safety, is advantageous.High school diploma or equivalent preferred.ASE certifications required.Physical Requirements:May lift objects that weigh as much as 50 lbs.Good hand-eye coordination.Prolonged periods of standing.Frequent reaching, bending, squatting, pulling and lifting.Equal Employment OpportunityThe policy of Central Automotive Group is to extend opportunities to qualified applicants and employees on an equal basis regardless of an individual's age, race, color, sex, religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression or veteran status.
