Description

Seattle, WA | Volvo | Luxury European brand | Hospitality | Apprentice Technician | Lube tech | Oil change | Hourly | Entry-level | Career path | Pacific Northwest | Veterans encouraged to apply | $24 - $28/hr

IS THIS YOU?

• You have hands-on automotive experience - or you're just getting started - and you're ready to build your skills in a busy express lane at a well-run luxury dealership

• You work with speed and accuracy and understand that a fast-moving express lane depends on technicians who do both without cutting corners

• You're looking for a stable hourly role at a respected Seattle Volvo store with a real path to grow into a full-line technician position

WHO WE ARE

Swickard Auto Group is a hospitality company that happens to sell and service cars. We believe the best guest experiences start with the best employee experiences. That's why we've grown to 40+ rooftops across the West Coast, Alaska, and Hawaii while maintaining a culture built on one simple idea: do right by people, every time.

Volvo Cars Seattle serves a loyal, environmentally conscious Pacific Northwest guest base that expects a service experience as considered as the vehicles they drive. The Express Service lane keeps our guests moving quickly and our service operation running efficiently - and the Express Technician who performs that work accurately is a valued and visible part of how we deliver on the Volvo experience every day.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform express maintenance services - oil and filter changes, tire rotations, fluid top-offs, wiper blade replacements, cabin and engine air filter replacements, and multi-point inspections

• Identify and communicate additional service needs discovered during inspections to service advisors - supporting guest safety and service advisor upsell opportunities

• Follow Volvo express lane procedures and safety standards on every vehicle

• Work accurately and efficiently throughout the shift - the express lane's pace depends on technicians who don't sacrifice quality for speed

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 1+ year of automotive technician, lube tech, or express service experience preferred - candidates with less experience who demonstrate strong aptitude and work ethic are encouraged to apply

• Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance procedures - oil changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections

• Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated - the express lane depends on consistent output every shift

• Volvo or European brand familiarity a plus - not required

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

WHAT WE OFFER

• $24 - $28/hr

• Medical, dental, and vision insurance

• Life insurance and supplemental coverage options

• Paid time off and paid holidays

• A genuine career path - motivated express technicians at Swickard grow into full-line technician roles with progressive pay plans and factory certification support

• Employee vehicle purchase and service discounts

• A stable hourly role at one of Seattle's most respected Volvo dealerships

WHY VOLVO CARS SEATTLE

• Volvo's growing lineup of electrified and hybrid vehicles makes the express lane here an active, evolving environment - a strong foundation for a technician who wants to grow toward EV and hybrid certification

• Seattle's Volvo guest base is loyal and values quality service - the express technician who does the work right keeps guests coming back and builds a reputation in a market that notices

• A genuine starting point for a technician career at a luxury European brand - Swickard invests in the people who show up and perform

• Swickard is one of the fastest-growing dealer groups in the country - ranked Top 5 in North America for reputation in the automotive industry

• Our HEART values - Honor, Engage, Anticipate, Respond, Thank - apply to every role on the team, from the express lane to the full-line shop

If you're ready to build your automotive career at a respected Seattle Volvo dealership where your accuracy, your reliability, and your work ethic are genuinely valued - we'd like to meet you. #T4
