Expressive Therapist
KVC Missouri Residential Treatment Facility Location: Springfield, MO Salary: $45,000-$68,000 annually (Depending on certification/registration and experience)
Job Summary The Expressive Therapist will work with children and adolescents in residential care, using the power of art or music to support their emotional and psychological growth.
This role involves creating and implementing personalized treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and collaborating with a dedicated team to support our residents' development.
The therapist will create a safe and supportive environment where residents can freely express themselves, encouraging self-exploration and emotional release through creative expression.
Qualifications
Education: Graduated from an accredited college or university in Art Therapy.
Licensure/Certification:
Art Therapist: Registered (ATR) or Board Certified (ATR-BC)
Music Therapist: Board Certified (MT-BC)
Dance/Drama Therapist: Registered Dance/Movement Therapy (R-DMT) or Registered Drama Therapist (RDT)
