DEPARTMENT: Plant Operations
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
CONTRACT STATUS: Extra Duty
APPROVED BY: Brad Yokley

SUMMARY: Owasso Public Schools rents out various facilities throughout the district. This position will be responsible for supervising OPS facilities during rental times. A primary example is supervising a building while Future Owasso Rams (F.O.R.) basketball practice is being conducted. Additional duties include, but are not limited to the following; greeting teams, access control, and ensuring the building is locked and secure after practice. Proctors will also be responsible for keeping teams on schedule with their pre-approved practice time.
Unlock and lock facilities during pre-scheduled times.
Keep events/practices/meetings on time according to the pre-approved schedule.
Confine participates to designated rental spaces.
Monitor participating groups to ensure they are not using school equipment, unless pre-approved and documented in the rental agreement.
Ensure a coach/sponsor is present while students are on site
Report any incidents and or accidents to supervisor.
Report any observed maintenance issues.
Perform light cleaning duties to ensure the gym/space is clean and in good working condition.
Sanitize all used spaces.
Helps maintain a positive and safe environment.
All other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES
Ability to effectively communicate through oral and written communication. Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with others, demonstrates self-discipline and initiative.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to speak clearly in well-modulated voice with good diction. Ability to read, write, and interpret the English language.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
This job has no need for mathematical skills.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Ability to be trained in setting up a computer, projector, and/or audio-visual equipment if pre-approved and specified by the rental agreement.
