Job description
PRIMARY PURPOSE :
Primary functions is providing Homebound Instruction for UDSD Students. Hours and locations vary and are to be determined.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the building Principal
Works cooperatively with other administrators, supervisors, staff, parents and students to perform job responsibilities as outlined

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS :

Valid PA certification (certification area to be determined based on instructional needs)
Proficiency in the use of technology for individual communication and research
Possess effective interpersonal skills with the ability to interface diplomatically with professional contacts

PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Use of hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
Sit and occasionally be required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch
Have the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
Required to work under periods of stress due to the level of the position responsibility
Exposure to a variety of childhood and adult diseases and illnesses.
Occasional exposure to a variety of weather conditions.
Exposure to heated/air conditioned and ventilated facilities.
Exposure to a building in which a variety of chemical substances are used for cleaning, instruction and/or operation
OTHER REQUIREMENTS : Current Act 34, Act 114 and Act 151 clearances
School Health Form (including physical and TB test)
PDE Form 6004 and Act 168 disclosure forms
