Job description
Extrusion OperatorAs an Extrusion Operator, you'll be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring extrusion equipment to manufacture quality products while maintaining our high standards for safety, efficiency, and productivity. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, mechanical processes, and working in a continuous manufacturing environment.What You'll DoSet up, start, operate, and shut down extrusion production lines.Load raw materials and maintain proper material flow throughout production.Monitor machine temperatures, line speeds, product dimensions, and overall process performance.Make process and color adjustments to ensure products meet specifications.Perform routine quality inspections and accurately document inspection results.Assist with troubleshooting equipment issues and support preventive maintenance activities.Maintain accurate production records and communicate effectively during shift handoffs.Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe.Support production on other extrusion lines as needed.Follow all company policies, quality standards, and safety procedures.Perform other duties as assigned.What We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent.Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification.Good communication and teamwork skills.Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.Mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to workplace safety.ScheduleThis position follows a 12-hour rotating Panama schedule (2-2-3) in a continuous 24/7 manufacturing operation.Day Shift Hours: 5:00am - 5:00pmYou'll be expected to:Work rotating day and night shifts.Work every other weekend.Work holidays and overtime as needed.Participate in shift handoffs to ensure smooth production transitions.Why You'll Be SuccessfulWe're looking for someone who:Takes pride in producing quality work.Enjoys working with manufacturing equipment and production processes.Pays close attention to detail.Works well with others in a team environment.Is committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.What You'll Have the Authority To DoStop production if quality or safety standards are not being met.Report quality concerns, non-conforming materials, or safety issues to management.Make product accept/reject decisions according to quality specifications.Support and uphold company policies and procedures.BenefitsHealth insuranceDental insuranceGenerous employer 401k contributionsFlexible spending accountTuition reimbursementGenerous paid time offEmployee assistance programVision insuranceEmployee discountLife insuranceReferral programWhy Join Inpro?At Inpro, you'll join a collaborative manufacturing team focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
