Extrusion TechnicianOur client, an advanced manufacturing organization is seeking an Extrusion Technician to join their team. As an Extrusion Technician, you will be part of the Extrusion department supporting the extrusion line operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, a drive for continuous improvement, and the ability to work as a team player which will align successfully in the organization.Location: Easton, PAPay Range: $20-23/hrShift: Shift 1: 6am - 2:30pm Shift 2: 2pm – 10:30pm Shift 3: 10pm – 6:30am Team A: Work Sunday -Thursday with Fri & Sat off Team B: Work Tuesday – Saturday with Sun & Mon offWhat's the Job?Assist in line setups and support minor machine and extrusion tooling troubleshooting to help maintain a safe, efficient product environment.Perform minor maintenance repair and tear down of extrusion machines as applicable to support smooth production.Support preventative maintenance on extrusion machines, tooling, and related extrusion molding equipment.Assist higher level Process Techs with line/tooling changes and with "cycling-in" the extrusion process to help machines reach standard operating conditions.Perform QC measurements including visual inspection, trim and package parts per specifications, and complete production tickets with accurate information for audit station one.What's Needed?High school graduate, GED, or equivalent.Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely.Mechanical aptitude and understanding of the manufacturing process.Basic computer and math skills to support paperwork, QC documentation, and production records.Ability to work with minimum direction after being trained, including meeting physical requirements such as lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for at least eight hours per day.What's in it for me?Opportunity to grow as an entry level technician through additional training and hands-on experience.Work in a quality-focused environment supporting finished product that adheres to established quality standards.Clear alignment to core values including Safety, Continuous Improvement, and Team Player.Hands-on involvement in maintaining proper paperwork and supporting the documented quality system.Experience supporting safe operations, including PPE compliance and safe material handling practices.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)If this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
