We are committed to contributing positively to the communities where we live, work and play.Job Description1ST SHIFT: 6:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday (weekends based on business need)DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Design profile extrusions dies per profile specifications delivered by the engineering department.Build dies, fixtures or related tools and complete tooling repairs and revisions in accordance with the blueprint dimensions.Setup and operate Tool Room equipment needed (Mills, Grinders, Lathes) to build, repair, revise and service molds, dies, calibrators, fixtures and related tools in a correct and timely manner.Provide multi-skilled maintenance/electrical support focused on customer service, quality, cost and productivity in a TPM and CI environment. Focused on developing maintenance skills and abilities. Follows and promotes safety and safely perform all job tasks.Demonstrate respectful workplace behavior.Understand, troubleshoot and problem solve issues of basic complexity in advanced Extrusion Tooling and Process.Test and perform preventative maintenance on Extrusion Tooling.Understand basic operation and use of Machinist measurement equipment and tooling.Understand types of water and vacuum fittings.Understand trouble shooting process for Extrusion Process.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS & EDUCATIONS2 years Associate Degree in a related field or equivalent past work experience2 years of design, tool and die making experience for a plastic profile extrusion companyPowered Industrial Truck (PIT) experienceBasic PC skills (MS Windows)Ability to work in a team environment and self-direct activitiesStrong customer focusContinued technical training required each yearAdditional InformationWork EnvironmentMainly a manufacturing facility, where exposed to moving mechanical parts, forklifts, heavy pallets, moderate to loud noise level, and air-borne dust, powders, and fumes.
