CentraCare Optometric AssistantEnjoy a rewarding career at CentraCare at the Skylark Clinic in Willmar!Assist the Optometrist/Ophthalmologist by performing the following tasks:Support daily clinic operations and administrative tasks.Prepare patients for vision exams and assist with diagnostic testing.Assist providers during laser and surgical procedures.Educate patients on the proper use of contact lenses.Assist with contact lens and orders.Maintain exam room supplies, inventory, and clean clinical instruments and equipment.ScheduleCasual, various weekday shifts, typically 7:00AM to 3:00PMNo guaranteed hours. Pick up shifts as needed.Work more hours during orientation.PayStarting pay begins at $25.70 per hour and increases with experiencePay range: $25.70 - $38.57 per hourQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Medical terminology required.Graduate of optometric assistant program preferred.One or more years of experience in the field preferred.Clear focus on high-quality work and customer service.Self-motivated, results oriented with a positive outlook.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
