Fly drones for aerial photography, LiDAR surveys, photogrammetrymissions, and infrastructure inspections. Operate advanced UASplatforms safely and efficiently for mapping projects.
About theRole
As an FAA Certified Drone Pilot at LNM1968, you'll operate UAVs foraerial photography, LiDAR data collection, photogrammetry, thermalinspections, and infrastructure surveys. You'll conduct flightplanning, execute missions, process imagery, and ensure safeoperations in compliance with FAA regulations.
This position requires FAA Part 107 certification, flightexperience, technical knowledge of drone systems, and ability towork independently on diverse projects.
KeyResponsibilities
Conduct UAV flight operations for mapping and inspectionprojects
Plan flight missions and obtain necessary airspaceauthorizations
Operate drones equipped with cameras, LiDAR, and thermalsensors
Ensure compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations
Maintain and troubleshoot drone equipment
Process imagery and deliver data to project teams
Complete flight logs and safety documentation
Required Qualifications
2+ years commercial drone flight experience
Experience with DJI, Autel, or professional UAV systems
Knowledge of flight planning software
Valid driver's license and ability to travel
Physical ability to work outdoors and carry equipment
PreferredSkills
Experience with LiDAR-equipped drones
Photogrammetry and GIS knowledge
Thermal imaging and infrastructure inspection experience
