FAA - Production Assembler 3Full-time Oro Valley, CA Exclusive confidential search — details shared with qualified applicants.Become a Key Player as a FAA - Production Assembler 3You will perform complex mechanical and electromechanical assembly work that ensures electrical/electronic equipment is built, reworked, and tested to specification. You will support production and inspection stakeholders on an onsite 1st shift schedule, with occasional nights, weekends, or overtime as needed. This role is safety-sensitive and subject to random drug testing.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamPerform disassembly, assembly, re-work and minimum testing of electrical/electronic equipment according to instructions and proceduresUse electric solder equipment to IPC-A-610B standard and perform hand soldering, wire prep, conformal coating, marking, and adhesive bondingConduct inspections of your own and others' work against drawings and specificationsMaintain a clean, orderly workstation following 5S standards and adhere to safety and attendance policiesComplete a timed hands-on assembly assessment as part of the hiring processAssist other departments with tasks, training, and development as neededHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleHigh School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 5 years prior related work experience in an electrical/avionics manufacturing or testing environment, or completed OJT for at least 10 productsStrong mechanical aptitude and good manual dexterity for working with small partsProficiency operating hand tools, power tools, and electric soldering equipment (IPC-A-610B experience)Ability to read and interpret safety rules, manufacturing instructions, policies, and proceduresCapability to perform basic math and problem-solve using existing proceduresAble to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform primarily seated work with some standing/walkingAvailable to work all shifts, overtime, and weekends as needed; consistent, punctual attendance requiredWillingness and ability to comply with a drug-free workplace and pass related screeningsExperience with MS OfficeHere's What Else Might Help You OutSkilled at simple welding, brazing, or advanced soldering tasksPay Range$20.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
