Job description
Job TitleActively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core Values."Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and Ethics."May operate machinery.Help with the lifting, positioning and removal of fabricated pieces from machines to assist with welding and fitting.Loading, stacking and transporting materials, tools and fabricated pieces by hand or using equipment such as forklifts.Clean and prepare surfaces for fabrication, welding, painting, or shipping.Perform basic maintenance on equipment and report any irregularitiesKeep the work area clean and organized to maintain a safe working environment.Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize safety hazards.Perform other duties as required or assigned.Previous experience and/or training in a fabrication or machine shop environment is required.Ability to operate tools and equipment applicable to position.Working knowledge of basic hand tools.Ability to communicate well with others in a fast-paced environment.Must be able to obtain and maintain an active status within company designated drug consortium.Regular and reliable attendance is required in this role.Lift up to 50 lbs. with assistance.Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination and ability to maintain balance.Must be able to climb ladders.Frequent bending, kneeling, crouching, and stooping.Use of hand tools such as hammers, knives or wrenches.Visual ability to include color vision and depth perception.Work may include pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, such as raw or fabricated material, equipment or tools.Identify safety hazards you or other employees may be subject to and take all necessary corrective action to eliminate or minimize hazardsPerform all duties while wearing protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety-toed boots, hard hat, and glovesWork involves standing and/or walking for extended periods of time, up to a minimum of 8 hours per day.Must be able to perform tasks in hot and cold temperatures.
