Job description
Pipe Fabrication / Machine Operator
Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
1-hour unpaid lunch
Non-climate-controlled environment (can get hot, no air conditioning)
Key Responsibilities
Move and organize loose or bundled pipe in the shop and yard.
Fabricate, cut, thread, bevel, stack, and prepare pipe for shipment.
Operate band saws, Landis threading machines, torches, and other fabrication equipment.
Measure, record, and cut pipe accurately using tape measures and gauges.
Perform quality checks and maintain a safe work environment.
Operate forklifts and powered industrial equipment in accordance with OSHA standards.
Required Qualifications
6-8 months of recent machine operation, assembly, or fabrication experience.
6-8 months of mechanical experience.
Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure and gauges.
Strong math skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills.
Preferred Experience
Fire sprinkler pipe fabrication.
Pipe threaders, band saws, roll groove machines, plasma cutters, automatic welding machines, or pneumatic banders.
Automotive, diesel, farm equipment, machinery maintenance, or mechanical repair backgrounds.
Physical Requirements
Ability to handle and sort pipe ranging from ½" to 10" in diameter.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, non-air-conditioned shop environment.

Pay Details:
$21.00 per hour
