Job description
Press Brake Setup And OperatorHiring for Champlin and Dayton, MN Hours: 5am - 3:30pm M - ThWorking with a variety of machines, you'll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and operating the machinery. The Press Brake Setup and Operator role requires 0-3 years of previous CNC Press Brake operator experience and previous CNC Press Brake setup experience, as you'll be operating different machines such as a laser, waterjet, punch press, press brake, shear, and forklift. The ability to use measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers and the ability to read blueprints/schematics will also be very important in this role. The Press Brake Setup and Operator role will require standing/walking/moving for the entire shift, as well repetitious lifting of up to 30 lbs.Job Duties And ResponsibilitiesSet up machines for production cycleOperate machines, controlling and adjusting machine settings as neededFeed materials or parts into machinesComplete quality checks with precision and measuring toolsTest machine operationReview machine output for any machine-related issuesRepair machine issuesAdd to activity logsMaintain records of approved or defective units or productsOther duties as assignedSkills And Qualifications0-3 years of previous machine operator experience0-3 years of previous machine setup experienceKnowledge of a variety of high-speed machineryKnowledge of a variety of measurement tools (caliper, micrometer, etc.)Forklift certification OR the ability to become forklift certified by Forgent Power SolutionsAbility to read and interpret blueprints and schematicsAbility to stand/walk/move for the entire shiftAbility to repeatedly bend, twist, squat, and liftAbility to repeatedly lift up to 30 lbs.Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs.BenefitsPTO/ESSTPaid holidays$100 individual deductible and $300 family deductible health insurancePaid weeklyVision and Dental Insurance401K / Life Insurance / STD
