Job TitleThis position is located in Brandon, South Dakota $22 - $30 per hour depending on experience 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm, some Friday hours may be requiredJob DescriptionThis position will perform duties required to meet production demands. This will include set-up and operating various CNC machines, laser machines, in-process inspection and cleaning operations required in the manufacturing of steel fabrication for vehicle products. This position will report to Operations Supervisor.Essential FunctionsAttend to and operate machinesClean parts, touch up parts, and may require re-work of partsRead and interpret written instructionComplete appropriate paperwork, log sheets, forms, charts and quality assessmentsCommunicate with and assist other co-workers in the areaPerform miscellaneous duties as directed by leadFollow all safety precautions and use protective equipment as requiredMeasure product to production specificationsMaintain and follow good housekeeping standards to meet company objectivesPerform routine quality checks, both written and oralPerform other duties as assignedCompetenciesCustomer Focus, Decision Quality, Results, Action Oriented, Displaying Technical Expertise, Time ManagementPhysical DemandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active – while performing this job the Team Member is regularly standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, balancing, reaching, handling, and climbing all day. The Team Member may have to lift and/or move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires Personal Protective Equipment.Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time hourly position working a minimum of 40 hours a week. Days are Monday - Thursday 5am - 3:30pm. Friday work may be required, hours on Friday's are 5am - 11am.Required Education and ExperienceComputer Skills Basic computer skills necessary Organization Skills: Maintain clean and organized work space.
