Fabrication TechnicianDoherty Staffing Solutions is hiring Fabrication Technicians for a manufacturing company in Alexandria, MN. In this role, you'll help fabricate sheet metal and machine components while ensuring products meet quality standards. If you enjoy hands-on work, working with machinery, and being part of a team-focused environment, this job could be a great fit. Read below for more information!Operate saw equipment to cut materials according to specificationsDeburr, drill, and tap holes in sheet metal and machine componentsOperate drill presses and other fabrication equipment safely and effectivelyRead and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate production of partsPerform basic machine maintenance and upkeep as requiredSelect and use proper tooling for fabrication projectsProduce quality parts that meet company standards within established timeframesHigh school diploma or equivalentAt least 1 year of fabrication, manufacturing, or related experience preferredAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsKnowledge of fabrication tools, equipment, and proper tooling selectionStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipGood communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a teamAbility to follow safety procedures and supervisor instructionsEnjoy weekly pay, access to health coverage options through Benefits in a Card (including preventative and minimum value plans), and temp-to-hire opportunities for long-term stability where applicable.
