We offer career growth opportunities as a fast growing company in a high demand industry.Summary of Responsibility:Reporting to the Fabrication Manager, the Fabrication Technician will perform tasks related to the production of sheet metal components and weldments. This individual is also responsible for finishing operations to facilitate the completion of said components. Also, verify that components are free from defects or inconsistencies upon completion and are packaged appropriately prior to release to production. This position provides an opportunity in a high growth business in manufacturing. We are looking for a motivated individual with the ability to successfully operate in a team setting.What You Will Contribute:Review and follow production work orders and any associated paperwork, ie. Schematics, work instructions, production orders.Operation of fabrication area equipment:CNC Press brake – job programming, tool setup and operationCNC Plasma table – job programming, material handling, machine maintenanceManual Mill & Lathe – work holding, turning and milling operationsMaterial cutting equipment- operation of cold saws, band saws, and handheld plasmaOperation of welding equipment with process knowledge of GMAW, GTAW, STAWDetermine appropriate processes and process parametersOperation of finishing line equipmentSteam cleaning equipment, powder coating equipment, electric ovensPromote safe work habits and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.Follow Safety guidelines, expressed or otherwise informed.Able to lift <50lbs as an individualFollow proper testing and safety proceduresProper use of hand and powered tools daily: angle/die grinders, drills, sanding/polishing equipmentOther Functions:Perform related duties as requiredPay Range:$20.00-$28.00 per hourThe duties listed above are intended only as illustration of the various types of work that may be performed.
