Primary responsibilities include meeting production goals, preparing and modifying plastic and carbon fiber components, pulling plastic, mixing plaster, laminating sockets with resin, and finalizing components for assembly of prosthetic sockets.FabricationPrepare parts and materials for assembly of check socketsCut, grind, and finish plastic and carbon fiber socketsCut and buff components for assemblyPull plastic, mix plaster, and laminate sockets with resinApply Loctite to fasteners and prepare components for attachment to prosthetic socketsCleanliness & OrganizationMaintain a clean, organized, and orderly work areaOrganize raw materials, components, and suppliesTrack and maintain inventory levelsSafetyFollow all safety procedures and OSHA requirementsProperly use tools, equipment, and required personal protective equipmentProductionMeet established production goals while maintaining quality and accuracyComplete assigned work efficiently and within established timelinesAll other job duties as assigned.Dependability - Consistently completes assigned work and meets production expectationsCollaborative - Constructively workshop solutions to problems with others - team playerCurious - Willingness to learn and ask thoughtful questions.Manual Dexterity - Comfortable working with tools, materials, and small componentsAdaptability - Willing to learn new fabrication techniques and adjust to changing prioritiesOrganized - Attentive to detailDirector, Commercial OperationsFabrication SupervisorFabrication TechniciansHigh school diploma, requiredWorking knowledge of hand tools, requiredExperience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment utilizing a variety of equipment, preferredPrevious experience in prosthetic fabrication, preferredRegular, informal one-on-one meetings with supervisor for bi-directional feedbackFormal performance review to take place annually with supervisorFrequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 poundsExtended periods of standingComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans, including generous employer contribution to health insurance premiumCompany provided life insurance, long-term disability insurance, and ability to add supplemental insurance options11 paid holidays annually, including 2 floating holidays3 weeks of paid time off annually401(k) retirement plan with 3% company matchFSA
