SubsidiarySteel DynamicsOverviewBrief Description: Welding and fabrication in shop and field. General machining duties. All duties assigned by the supervisor are to be performed in a safe and efficient manner.ResponsibilitiesJob Duties/Responsibilities:Candidate must be:Proficient in basic electrode and MIG welding, including pipe fitting and pipe welding.Able to assemble steel structures utilizing fabrication drawing.Proficient in basic machine shop practiceAble to work without direct supervision.Able to work overtime when required.All other jobs assigned by the shift supervisor.QualificationsExperience/Requirements:Required:High School diploma or equivalent5-Years of manual and CNC machining experienceMust complete Mechanical Apptitude TestPreferred:2-Year verifiable work experience in industrial environmentCompletion of a recognized welding program or machine shop programSteel Dynamics, Inc., and all affiliated entities are equal opportunity employers.
