Fabricator – Plate Roller/Brake/Shear Operator (Union Position)Location: Deer Park, NYCompany/Industry: Precision metal fabrication companySchedule: Mon-Fri, 6:45am-3:15pmSalary: $26-32/hr depending on experience, with flexibility for the right candidateType: Direct hire with comprehensive benefits packageKey ResponsibilitiesRoll metal shells and cylinders ranging from 14 gauge to 5/8" in carbon steel and stainless steelOperate plate rolls with precision and consistencySet up and operate a press brake for bending and forming operationsUse a shear to cut materials to sizeInspect finished parts for accuracy and qualityRead and interpret shop drawings, measurements, and fabrication instructionsMaintain equipment and follow all shop safety proceduresCollaborate with shop supervisors and other fabricators to complete custom jobsRequirementsPlate rolling experience is requiredAbility to roll heavy gauge metal into shells/cylindersExperience operating a press brake and shearStrong understanding of fabrication measurements, tolerances, and metal behaviorAbility to work independently and as part of a teamReliable, punctual, and safety-mindedCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $26.00 - $32.00
