Job TitleResponsible for riveting brake lining onto brake shoes.Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - $22.35 (+$0.90 for 2nd shift, + $1.00 for 3rd shift)Essential FunctionsVerifies correct partsLoads shoe into riveterGauges a riveted shoeVerifies part qualityOther duties as assignedEducation and TrainingHigh School Diploma or GEDMinimum QualificationsGood communication skillsMust be able to work independentlyAbility to work well with othersPhysical DemandsMust be able to stand continuously for 8-12 hrsMust be able to lift up to 70lbs occasionally depending on customer ordersMust be able to bend, twist and lift repetitivelyUse foot pedalAbility to work in tight placesGood hand/eye coordination and good motor skillsEnvironmental ConditionsEar and eye protection required at all times in production areasExposure to a noisy work environmentExposure to hot and humid conditionsExposure to coolants, oils, grease and waterExposure to brake pad dustSteel toe boots with metatarsal guards are required at all timesWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
