Fabricator/WelderAmerican Energy Innovations is a pioneering design, engineering, and assembly firm for machinery and equipment used in the Oil & Gas industry. Our innovative technology provides software and mechanical solutions that increase fueling efficiency for hydraulic fracturing and allows for an increased efficiency in communication.We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Springtown, TX. This position is in a "Job Shop" environment and requires proficient knowledge of structural and pipe fabrication. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fabricating and welding metal components according to technical drawings and specifications.The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and schematicsProficiency in GMAW & FCAW processes (welding test required), AWS D1.1, D1.2, ASMEOccasional SMAW weldingSufficient experience with fabrication equipment (bandsaws, grinders, ironworkers, welding machines, plasma cutter, etc.)Handle sheet metal for cutting, welding, and assemblingUse overhead crane to position and move steel and equipmentKnowledge of fitting & layoutAbility to perform work efficiently and accuratelyAbility to work well with others and perform timely work with little supervisionAbility to regularly perform physical tasks and stand for hours at a timeOther duties as assignedMust be able to pass drug and alcohol test at time of hireSkills possessed by the ideal candidate for this role:Proficiency in GMAW & FCAW welding techniquesAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, and blueprintsCompetency in using measuring and fabrication equipmentExperience working in structural fabrication and pipe shops is a plusAbility to assemble metal components accuratelyThe ideal candidate will work Monday through Friday, 7 am to 6 pm, 50 hours a week, in Springtown, TX. This position will be paid hourly, $20/hour-$30/hour, commensurate with experience. Benefits will be available after 60 days of employment (medical, dental, vision, and life) and a 401k after a year of service with a 4% company match.
