Calvary Day School Custodial TechnicianOur Mission Calvary provides a Christ-centered education from Infant–12th grade, focusing on the whole child—spiritually, academically, socially, and physically. Inspired by Luke 2:52, we aim to help children grow in wisdom, stature, and favor with God and others.Calvary Day School is seeking diligent, hard-working custodial technicians for part-time and full-time day and evening shifts. Must possess a strong work ethic, an attention to detail, and a commitment to contribute to Calvary's mission by maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for staff and students.Qualifications:Good physical health with ability to perform duties for extended periods.Resilient and committed approach to all tasks.Effectively manages time and prioritizes tasks with minimal supervision to ensure all duties are completed thoroughly.Reliable, friendly and resourceful. Positive attitude. Works well with others.Must love children and serve as an excellent role model.High school diploma. Previous custodial or janitorial experience preferred.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Respond to immediate cleaning and sanitizing requirements as required by the Supervisor.Execute daily floor care routines, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming, to maintain pristine and sanitary surfaces.Manage waste disposal efficiently, ensuring all areas are tidy and free of clutter.Ensure restrooms are clean, disinfected and stocked with necessary supplies.Keep building and grounds, sidewalks, driveways, parking and play areas - free from litter.Adhere to safety protocols to maintain a safe environment.Physical Demands:Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, reaching, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing.Frequent standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, balance.Must occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.Ability to work in some temperature extremes.If you are someone who believes a job worth doing is worth doing well, we would love to hear from you!Calvary Day School affords equal opportunity to all employees and prospective employees.
