Facilities Custodian – Keep Our Grindstone Location Running Smoothly!Location: Grindstone, PA Schedule: Open availability until 11:00 PM, including weekendsBe the Hero Behind the ScenesContactUs Communications is looking for a Facilities Custodian who takes pride in keeping things clean, safe, and running smoothly. If you enjoy staying active, solving small problems before they become big ones, and knowing your work makes a real difference every day—this role was made for you!What You'll Be DoingNo two days look exactly the same, and that's part of the fun! You'll help keep our building and grounds in top shape by:Performing continuous walkthroughs of the facility and parking lots to keep everything looking its bestSweeping, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors using professional equipmentCleaning and sanitizing restrooms and high-touch surfacesEmptying trash and keeping workspaces, common areas, and entryways clean and welcomingCleaning desks, walls, furniture, doors, windows (interior and exterior), countertops, and light fixturesChanging light bulbs and assisting with minor building, furniture, or equipment repairsUsing ladders when needed to clean ceilings, walls, blinds, and fixturesMoving furniture, boxes, cabinets, and equipment to ensure thorough cleaningKeeping outdoor areas clean—sweeping walkways, raking leaves, cutting grass, and removing snow or ice as neededSupporting special projects and daily tasks assigned by leadershipSharing observations, concerns, or improvement ideas with leadershipWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalentPrevious janitorial or maintenance experience preferredStrong attention to detail and pride in your workAbility to work independently and as part of a teamComfortable reading and following equipment manuals and safety instructionsGood organizational, troubleshooting, and decision-making skillsWillingness to take initiative and address issues before they become problemsClear written and verbal communication skillsMust be able to pass a background check and drug testPhysical RequirementsAbility to walk, stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shiftAbility to lift up to 50 lbsWhy You'll Love Working HereA role where your work is noticed and appreciatedA fast-paced environment that keeps you movingVariety in your day—no boring routinesBe part of a team that values cleanliness, safety, and teamworkOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
