Job description
Required skills and experience:
3-5+ years of maintenance/ custodia; management experience within a production/ manufacturing environment.
Strong leadership and team management experience.
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements withing production/ manufacturing/ industrial environment.
Experience with profit & loss and/or budget management.
Experience overseeing facility maintenance operations.
Working knowledge of:
Boilers
Chillers
Generators
HVAC/R systems
Plumbing systems
Building maintenance programs
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and time management skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Preferred skills and experience:
Bachelor's degree in Facility Maintenance or related field.
Vendor management experience.
Experience with Joint Commission compliance.
Experience with energy management and utility systems.
Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (ISIS Pro).
Day-to-Day:
Direct all facility maintenance and engineering operations.
Lead maintenance managers, supervisors, and frontline employees.
Ensure compliance with company, client, and regulatory standards.
Oversee electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire/life safety, water treatment, and utility systems.
Manage vendor relationships and service providers.
Develop and manage operational forecasts and budgets.
Maintain financial accountability and capital planning.
Conduct facility assessments and implement corrective action plans.
Partner with client leadership and conduct operational rounding.
Drive employee engagement, development, and performance management.
Ensure compliance with contract obligations and safety programs.
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and service expansion.
Job Description:
Insight Global is seeking a Facilities Director for a top facilities management and services client. This candidate will oversee all maintenance, engineering, and facility operations while leading a team of supervisors and technicians in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership skills, budget ownership experience, and deep knowledge of building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems. This individual will be responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory compliance, managing client relationships, and delivering a proactive maintenance program that supports both facility performance and customer satisfaction. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on facilities leader looking to make a significant impact across a large-scale operation.
Salary: $100,000 - $108,000/year
Location: Williamson, NY 14589
Schedule: Monday-Friday, start between 7-8AM, end between 4-5PM (possible weekends if short staffed)
