Facilities Maintenance AssistantKimball Midwest, a national distributor of maintenance, repair, and operation products, is searching for a Full Time Facilities Maintenance Assistant for our Columbus, OH location.As a Kimball Midwest associate, you'll be part of a company built on long-term growth and strong values. Despite our growth, we have stayed true to our family-owned and operated roots—where employees are recognized as individuals and our culture remains a top priority.ResponsibilitiesPerforms all tasks related to warehouse and office cosmetic improvements including but not limited to:Painting of floors, walls, and trimWall mounting of pictures, shelves, clocks, etc.Mowing grass/Shoveling snowTrimming weedsRemoving trash from around the buildingShuts off gas, water, and electric supply in the case of an emergencyPerforms monthly inspections of all fire extinguishers in accordance with company guidelinesCompletes items from the maintenance checklist dailyEnsures the detailed cleanliness of the warehouse and officeQualificationsThe ability to wear safety equipment as provided by managementThe ability to adapt to varying environmental conditionThe ability to lift object up to 50 pounds.Additional InformationThis is a Monday- Friday role. No Weekends!
