Job description
School City of East Chicago seeks a Director of Facilities to maintain all school buildings and surrounding grounds for optimal educational use. Reporting to the Superintendent, the role operates on a twelve-month year.
Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance crews, prioritizing repairs, coordinating inspections, and managing bids for capital projects. Requires IASBO certification and a Bachelor’s in Construction Management or engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
