Job TitleMay perform essential functions of Housekeeping, Floor Care, Security, Supply Distribution, Inventory Control, Minor Maintenance, Building & Ground Maintenance, Waste Handling and Waste Processing.AttributesMinimum of one (1) year of previous work experience in a related fieldExcellent customer service and communication skillsCompassionate, warm and patient focusedResponsibilitiesPerforms routine maintenance work orders.Evaluates broken equipment and performs minor repairs as needed.Maintains a clean, safe, and functional working environment.Assists in delivering supplies, equipment maintenance, room turnover, emergency response, patient and/or specimen transport, and routine housekeeping functions.Provides technical responsibilities such as mixing bicarbonate, restocking acid concentrate, or setting up Dialysis equipment for Dialysis treatment.Tests treated water for chloramines levels and disinfects the Bicarbonate Delivery System Loop.Provides security support services as required.Performs other duties as requested.Required Licenses/Certifications/Qualifications1-5 years previous work experience in a related field.For ElderONE employment and other areas of elderly care: 1 year experience working with the frail elderly population is preferred.May require a valid NYS drivers licenseEducationLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONSPhysical RequirementsM - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.Pay Range$17.50 - $21.58The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
