General Facilities TechAs a General Facilities Tech, your strong attention to detail and commitment to overall functionality allows for a safe, efficient and comforting environment for both staff and patients throughout the facility.STATUS: Per DiemLOCATION: Wegman Family Cottages at Park Ridge Living Center - 1555 Long Pond Road in Rochester, New YorkDEPARTMENT: Facilities- Extended CareSCHEDULE: 7:30am - 4:00pmATTRIBUTESMinimum of one (1) year of previous work experience in a related fieldExcellent customer service and communication skillsCompassionate, warm and patient focusedRESPONSIBILITIESMaintenance. Assist in delivering supplies, equipment maintenance, room turnover, emergency response, patient and/or specimen transport and routine housekeeping functions; ensure a clean, safe and functional working environmentTechnical Support. Evaluate broken equipment and perform minor repairs; provide extra support for other technician such as restocking, and set up of equipment.Security. Provide security support services as neededEDUCATION:LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.For disease specific care programs refer to the program specific requirements of the department for further specifications on experience and educational expectations, including continuing education requirements.Any physical requirements reported by a prospective employee and/or employee's physician or delegate will be considered for accommodations.PAY RANGE:$17.50 - $21.58CITY:RochesterPOSTAL CODE:14626The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
