This is a full-time position and an exciting opportunity for someone interested in having a direct impact on providing a safe and clean environment for Town employees.The Town offers a competitive benefits package. To learn more, please visit the Town of Marana Benefits page.Hours of Operation: 7:00 – 4:00 pmOn-Call: Required rotationExpected Hiring Range: $24.52 - $31.27 per hourPlacement within the expected hiring range is dependent on direct experience, internal equity and/or budget.Salary Range: $24.52 - $37.01 per hourExamples Of DutiesManages daily work orders, completes work requests, receives requests, evaluates problems, obtains supplies, and schedule repairs/requests.Mentors other facilities technician expanding providing knowledge and experience; provide on the job training, and ensures availability of materials to complete jobs/projects.Performs preventative maintenance inspecting equipment and buildings troubleshoots problems, follows facilities calendar, and performs repairs as needed; operates various shop equipment. Performs higher-level trade skills such as electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and relocation of office furniture and equipment.Complies with Federal laws and regulations when completing required jobs/projects; facilitates safety trainings regarding equipment and repair.Minimum QualificationsAssociates degree in a related field.Over five years' experience in a related field.An equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provides the desired knowledge, skills & abilities to successfully perform essential functions may be considered.Additional Requirements:Valid Arizona Driver License.Must complete a pre-employment physical including an audiogram and pass a 50-pound lift test.Must complete both the Town of Marana background check and a motor vehicle records check.Preferred Qualifications:Associates degree in electrical technology or a closely related field.Over five years' journey-level experience in a construction trade as a journeyman level electrician.Public Sector experience in municipal, county, or state government.Possess one year (or more) of experience in a Lead positionRecruitment ProcessTo be considered for this position, all applicants must complete the Town of Marana application form in its entirety online at Providing a resume is welcome; however, it will not substitute for completing all required sections of the application.
