Facilities Worker IThe Elmhurst Park District, established in 1920 and located 16 miles west of Chicago, provides parks, recreation facilities and programs to meet our mission of enriching lives while having fun. What You'll Do: As Facilities Worker I, you'll perform general custodial and maintenance duties. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Clean and disinfect all areas of facility and grounds as assigned.Perform light repair and maintenance of facility and grounds as assigned.Report building, equipment, plumbing and electrical problems, as necessary.Ensure all equipment, tools are clean and in good operating condition.Perform room set ups and take downs as required.Assist with district events, as required.What You'll Bring:Some high school educationAt least 18 years oldValid Illinois Driver's LicenseWhen You'll Work:This position requires availability across all days of the week, with scheduled hours primarily during afternoon and evening shifts.
