Grand Park Sports CampusGrand Park in Westfield, Indiana, is a planned youth and adult recreational sports Campus designed to become a family sports destination like no other. This thoughtfully-designed 400-acre sports campus features a full-range of championship-level outdoor facilities for baseball, softball and field sports including soccer, football, field hockey, lacrosse and two indoor sports facilities designed for year-round play. The entire Sports Campus is surrounded by dining, retail and entertainment venues, all geared toward supporting and enhancing the family sports atmosphere and experience.General Definition of WorkThis position performs work including assisting in the management and upkeep of all Grand Park facilities, janitorial services and management of other contracted services. Work hours for this position are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with 1 hour for lunch. Weekend hours will be required during peak event weekends. This position reports to the Facility Maintenance Manager.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable an individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Essential FunctionsWork under the leadership of the Facility Maintenance Manager to ensure common areas and buildings are in top working condition by performing routine repairs and preventative maintenanceWorks with other departments to ensure all facilities are properly prepared for eventsMaintain the professional public image and aesthetically pleasing appearance of the building(s) themselvesAssist in the oversite and of onsite Janitorial servicesPerforms other maintenance duties as assigned by the VP of OperationsEducation and ExperienceAny combination of training, education and/or experience in facility maintenancePhysical RequirementsThis work requires the occasional exertion of up to 50 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, speaking or hearing and repetitive motions, frequently requires standing and occasionally requires walking, using hands to finger, handle or feel and reaching with hands and arms; work has standard vision requirements; vocal communication is required for expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word and conveying detailed or important instructions to others accurately, loudly or quickly; hearing is required to perceive information at normal spoken word levels and to receive detailed information through oral communications and/or to make fine distinctions in sound; work requires preparing and analyzing written or computer data and operating motor vehicles or equipment; work has no exposure to environmental conditions; work is generally in a moderately noisy location (e.g. business office, light traffic).Special RequirementsValid driver's license in the State of Indiana.
