Faculty Position in Medical/Surgical Retina
The George Washington University Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University, seeks to fill a full-time faculty position in Medical/Surgical retina. The Department of Ophthalmology is part of a growing academic health center located in the heart of a world-class, vibrant metropolitan area and its cultural, family, and educational opportunities. Appointment rank (Instructor/Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Full Professor) and salary will be commensurate with experience. This position is expected to begin as early as July 2025.
Specific duties and responsibilities include delivering excellent patient care, teaching residents and medical students, and conducting high-quality research.
Minimum qualifications include being board-certified or eligible in Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in retina. Applicants must also be eligible for licensure in the District of Columbia at the time of appointment. The advertised salary is $300,000 - $360,000. The MFA also provides generous health and other benefits.
