Position Title
Faculty, Psychiatry, Clinical Practice
Location
Macon, GA 31207
Responsibilities
Maintain a financially viable clinical psychiatry practice at the Mercer Medicine clinic in Macon, GA while providing quality care to patients.
Provide direct patient care services in an outpatient clinic Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.
Collaborate within and across clinical departments; participate in the department call schedule and emergency center call schedule.
Supervise nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants as required.
Provide outpatient psychiatric consultations for Mercer Medicine patients and other patients as requested by community physicians.
Complete all medical record documentation requirements concurrently.
Qualifications
Completed an approved general psychiatry residency.
Board‑eligible/certified in general psychiatry and eligible to obtain a Georgia medical license.
Considerable clinical experience with a variety of client populations.
Willingness or experience performing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Familiarity and/or experience with medical practices, settings, and culture.
