Job description

Georgia Hope

Some careers are just jobs. This one is different. At Georgia HOPE, the work you do every day creates meaningful change for children, families, and individuals who need it most.

We're a Georgia-based behavioral health provider on a mission to instill hope, empower lives, and strengthen communities. Our team specializes in supporting individuals facing emotional and behavioral challenges—often those who have experienced trauma, instability, or significant life stressors. We deliver services directly in the homes, schools, and communities where our clients live and grow, because real progress happens when care is personalized, strengths-focused, and meets people where they are.

As part of the Health Connect America family—a COA-accredited organization serving children, families, and adults across nine states—you'll have the resources, support, and professional development of a larger organization, paired with the close-knit, mission-focused culture that defines our work.

If you're looking for a career where your impact is visible, your growth is supported, and your work truly matters, you'll find it here.

Responsibilities

If you're someone who believes meaningful change happens through working directly with families in their real-world environments and strengthening the system around a child—not just the individual—this role was built for you.

As a Family Centered Treatment (FCT) Therapist at Georgia HOPE, you'll provide intensive, in-home clinical services that support children, adolescents, and families through structured, model-driven intervention focused on lasting behavioral and relational change.

What You'll Do

As an FCT Therapist, you'll deliver structured, in-home family therapy using the Family Centered Treatment model with a strong emphasis on fidelity, engagement, and outcomes. Day to day, you can expect to:

Provide Family Centered Treatment (FCT) services in alignment with model fidelity requirements and clinical service definitions

Deliver in-home and community-based therapy to children, adolescents, and families using a structured, phase-based treatment model

Develop, implement, and adjust service plans in collaboration with treatment teams, families, and other involved systems

Facilitate family engagement, goal setting, psychoeducation, and skill-building aligned with identified treatment needs

Coordinate care with schools, medical providers, child welfare, juvenile justice, and natural supports to ensure integrated service delivery

Maintain accurate, timely documentation, complete all required FCT forms, and support discharge planning and aftercare coordination

What to Expect

This is a highly flexible, community-based role that requires working directly in clients' homes and other natural environments, often outside traditional business hours. You will carry a caseload that requires regular engagement, including 24/7 on-call availability to support assigned families as needed.

Success in this role requires adaptability, strong clinical presence in dynamic home settings, and comfort working intensively with family systems. You'll complete required FCT certification within your first year and participate in ongoing training and fidelity monitoring as part of the model requirements.

Qualifications

We welcome candidates who bring a genuine commitment to children and families and meet the following qualifications:

Minimum of a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or related field is required.

Two years' experience working with youth or families.

Current Family Centered Treatment Certification is preferred.
