Job description
Bergen County Law Firm is expanding again, due to business growth, need to hire a Family Law Paralegal to support two Attorneys in cases like divorce, child custody, and adoption by drafting legal documents, organizing discovery, Case Information Statements, and managing client communications.
Job Duties
Drafting: Write pleadings, motions, and agreements
Client contact : Answering client questions and gathering case details
Client Interaction: Serve as a primary point of contact to gather information and provide case status updates
Case and Calendar Management: Maintain court deadlines, schedule hearings or mediations, and handle electronic court filing (e-filing)
Court prep : Organizing exhibits and lining up documents for trial
Case Information Statements
Job Requirements
Experience: Typically requires 3 to 10 years of specialized in New Jersey family law
Currently working at a private law firm
Education: Paralegal Degree or Certificate
Must Live: in Bergen County or surrounding area
