Clinical workflows are structured to address the primary and chronic care needs of the patient population served.
About the Facility Location The state offers clinicians on assignment access to a range of outdoor and cultural attractions suited to varied interests. Recreational opportunities include over 170 miles of natural surface trails, 160+ miles of paved trails, and more than 20,000 acres of parks and green spaces suited for hiking, biking, and kayaking. Notable destinations include Mammoth Cave National Park, Red River Gorge, Cumberland Falls State Park, and the National Corvette Museum, complemented by scenic drives, world-renowned horse farms, museums, and culinary experiences throughout the region.
About the Clinician's Workday Clinicians will provide clinic-based primary care services in a correctional facility setting, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on a day shift schedule. The expected caseload is 15-20 patients per day, with clinical responsibilities encompassing the evaluation and management of primary and chronic care conditions for the patient population served. No call coverage is required for this assignment.
